Henry von Wartenberg was born in Mar del Plata in 1967. He grew up between the city and the country. As a young man he played polo and studied Veterinary Medicine in Tandil, province of Buenos Aires. At the same time he began to develop as a photographer.
In 1996 he won the Pleiade for the best photo of the year with “Piranhas”, taken at the Ironman in Kona, Hawaii. Since 1999 he works as a freelance. He has collaborated with media from all over the world
